The 2d team actively contributed to a multitude of charitable and culture initiatives in our local community, supporting a range of worthy causes.

In 2022 along, the 2d restaurant has participated in and supported a plethora of local non-profit fundraising events across Chicago. From supporting organizations like Japanese art foundation PAWS Chicago, The Nora Project, and the Nettelhorst PTO, to contributing to events like the Corn production, NPN Auction, and OneGoal, 2d has made an enormous impact on the city.

Additionally, the company has been involved in events supporting the Japanese Culture Center, Lurie Children's Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program, Annoyance Charity Raffle, Center on Halsted, and the Hirshberg Foundation, to name just a few. This extensive list of engagement is an incredibly inspiring example of how a business can set itself apart by prioritizing community-building and giving back.

Kevin's passion for showcasing his Taiwanese and Asian heritage is also undeniable. Recently, his culinary prowess and cultural savvy caught the attention of the Chicago Bulls, who invited 2d restaurant to represent Asian businesses during their Lunar New Year celebration at the United Center. What's more, he collaborated with top-tier global brands like Disney, Nickelodeon, Blue Man Group and Broadway Chicago while presenting the rich tapestry of Asian art and culture .
